Steam | How to install

Before you get started, make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements below:

  • Memory: 16 GB RAM

  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB

  • DirectX: Version 11

  • Network: Broadband Internet connection

  • Storage: 70 GB available space

  • Additional Notes: SSD

Ready to go?

  1. Start Steam
  2. Login to your Steam account
  3. Head to the Store
  4. Type SCUM in the search bar and hit Enter
  5. Select SCUM in the search results
  6. Once you've opened the title page, hit Add to Cart
  7. You'll be taken to the Checkout page. Hit Purchase for myself
  8. Complete the steps to confirm your payment
  9. Head to your Library
  10. SCUM in your games list and hit Install to start the installation

 

I'm having issues installing SCUM

There are a number of reasons SCUM may fail to install. Check out Steam's troubleshooting steps for common causes and solutions.

 

Why is it taking so long to install an update?

This is a direct result of Steam's update process. When installing an update, Steam first verifies all affected files before the installation is complete. As SCUM is a very large game this process can take some time (depending on the update!).
